Position Summary
Vector Media is seeking to hire a Regional Manager to manage our Local Sales team and will be based in the Baltimore, MD market. The Regional Manager will report to the EVP, Local Sales. The RM oversees all aspects of Vector’s Maryland Markets including Baltimore and Montgomery, Co., inclusive of relationships with Transit Authority representatives. The RM will establish and cultivate relationships through regular contact (via phone calls, emails, meetings) with prospective advertising customers. They will leverage Vector Media’s unique asset offerings and delivery methodologies and position Vector Media as a Media vendor of choice within our local markets.


Compensation Details: Base Salary $90,000 - $135,000 plus Commission.

The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education,
skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-7+ years of media sales management experience.
  • Polished sales, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional team player, interested in working as part of a highly coordinated, focused organization.
  • Attention to delivering the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
  • Experience in utilizing Sales Force, Media Radar and other media measurement and management tools. 

What You’ll Do:
  • Proactively identify new revenue opportunities; drive account growth and profitability acceleration including new business, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Own extensive client communication, strategic planning and troubleshooting account complications to promote client satisfaction; develop and improve executive level relationships within named account(s).
  • Provide thought leadership and consultation on aligning client business needs to products, solutions and services offered.
  • Drive contract negotiations for business in support of new sales, account growth and contract renewals.
  • Own revenue forecasting (via Salesforce.com) and ensures accuracy of sales entries.
  • Proactively develops sales force through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales talent, managing / coaching employee performance, and holding employees accountable against business and sales metrics.
