LOCATION

• This position is not fully remote. Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania or within commuting distance to support required in-person site visits and maintain a regional presence. While some remote work is permitted, regular travel within the region is an essential function of the role.  Your home will serve as your base office, with weekly travel as needed to your assigned portfolio of communities and apartments.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BRING:

• Minimum 3+ years as Regional/District Manager required with a total of 5+ years prior residential apartment site management. Prior management of minimum 700 units desired.
• Minimum 4+ years Affordable Housing with Low-income Tax Credit, HUD- Section 8, Rural Development and/or other compliance experience needed.
• Minimum 2+ years’ supervisory experience including training and performance management needed, along with recruiting, team building, coaching, mentoring skills.
• Prior budgeting experience needed; Strong accounting/business with financial management experience including maximizing NOI for all assigned sites required.

RESPONSIBILITIES will include but not be limited to: Being responsible for supervising the daily operations and management of the properties assigned to you initially the Pennsylvania region communities and apartments. The Regional position will maximize NOI in accordance with property budgets and business plan, as well as minimizing individual property vacancies. You will report directly to the Assistant Vice President and will work collaboratively with key partners in Compliance, Property Management, Property Finance, Asset Management, People + Culture, and outside housing authority representatives to ensure all required aspects of operating a stable, fiscal operation are covered and meeting all requirements.  

CANDIDATES ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WILL INCLUDE:

•High competency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel).

•YARDI Voyager software experience preferred or other housing programs a plus.

•Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred; minimum High School degree or GED equivalent required.

•Professional affordable housing/housing industry certifications preferred or willing to obtain.

•Flexibility for regional weekly automobile travel depending on site activities; will also attend quarterly property management meetings, training programs and Conifer’s annual conference that may involve overnight stays.

•Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills with ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrates organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills to effectively manage several projects with daily activities at one time to meet the required timelines set.

•Strong organizational skills with effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and juggle many projects, tasks at one time.

•Collaborates effectively to get things done, has an intense focus on achieving results, building, and nurturing strong relationships becoming a positive resource for our residents, vendors, contractors, visitors, and fellow employees.

•Champions change and operational excellence.

•Is a professional who possess good business judgment, and business practices.

•Thinks strategically and applies critical thinking to identifying and solving problems.

The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
