This role will support a portfolio of affordable housing communities in the Oakland / East Bay Area.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A REGIONAL MANAGER
Performing
regular
scheduled property
visits
to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Direct, challenge, and motivate Community Managers to run high-performing properties, helping Related provide affordable housing to eligible individuals and
families
Ensure annual property budgets are set appropriately by Community Managers; provide guidance and support as needed.
Develop and execute SMART action plans to improve portfolio revenue and minimize controllable expenses; ensure portfolio performs at or exceeding annual budget.
Hire, train, develop, and manage direct reports to maximize performance.
Create an engaging, inclusive, diverse growth and learning culture throughout portfolio.
Ensure talent management best practices throughout portfolio, with focus on internal growth and strengthening talent bench.
Lead consistent communication throughout portfolio to align business goals.
Ensure portfolio meets RMC’s property maintenance expectations; propose capital improvements as needed to maximize asset value.
Partner with property support teams (e.g., Compliance, HR, Facilities) to address concerns and for
assistance
as needed to advance the portfolio.
Support Regional Compliance team in responding to government and regulatory agency requests.
Attend property audits and liaise with agencies as needed; ensure portfolio meets all compliance standards

COMPENSATION
$
110000
- $130000
/ yearly
with an annual bonus that is tied to performance
Qualifications
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have at least 5 years of property management experience with knowledge of HUD Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs
.
Bachelor’s degree preferred!
Preferably, you have one of the following affordable industry certifications: CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM and prior experience with major rehabs and renovations
You are
