Regional Manager - Revenue Audit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or extensive experience in gaming and non-gaming revenues, departmental accounting controls, and procedures


• Three years of audit experience required

• Strong communication and supervisory skills.


• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.


• Proven ability to direct and motivate employees.


• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

• Strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, computer literacy, and a high level of comfort working with numbers

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions


• Previous gaming and or hospitality audit experience is a plus

License Requirements:

Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation and Gaming License.

Essential Job Functions:

• Document Policies & Procedures and prepare checklists for all audits.


• Monitor and investigate discrepancy flags in the Casino Insight software tool to for validity and resolution


• Responsible for variance analysis


• Manage team of revenue auditors


• Implement auditing techniques to seek efficiencies and improve the timeliness of completing the required audits


• Assist with the monitoring of all financial activities on property with respect to revenue accounting to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the company, the federal and state tax commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced


• Be the liaison to the Rhode Island Lottery to provide revenue audit information as requested


• Manage our on-site storage facility for accounting related records

• Ensure a maximum level of companywide service and satisfaction in the area of revenue accounting is achieved and maintained

• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports


• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment, either alone or with others.


• Exposure to paper and/or dust particles


• Subject to outdoor temperatures; exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise

Salary:    $70,000
