Regional Merchandising Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated anddetail-oriented individual to join our team as a MerchandiserSpecialist for Convenience Stores. In this role, you will beresponsible for ensuring that our products are effectively displayedand merchandised in convenience stores to drive sales and enhancebrand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visualpresentation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to buildpositive relationships with store personnel.

Experience and Skills:

Responsibilities:
Merchandising Strategy:

Develop and executemerchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drivesales in convenience stores.
Planogram Implementation:

Implement planograms andensure that products are displayed according to company guidelinesto optimize shelf space and improve overall aesthetics.
Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels andcollaborate with store managers to ensure adequate stock levels aremaintained. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify anydiscrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Product Placement:

Strategically place products inhigh-traffic areas within convenience stores to increase visibilityand drive impulse purchases.
Promotional Activities:

Coordinate promotionalactivities and product launches within convenience stores. Set updisplays, signage, and promotional materials to effectivelycommunicate marketing messages and drive sales.
Relationship Building:

Establish and maintainstrong relationships with store managers and staff to ensurecompliance with merchandising standards and resolve any issues orconcerns in a timely manner.
Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends andcompetitor activities to identify opportunities for productplacement and promotion within convenience stores. Providerecommendations for product assortment and pricing adjustments basedon market insights.
Drive:

Should be able to drive and service all thestores that are assigned which will be from Southeast MI to possiblySouthwest MI.
Training and Support:

Provide training and supportto store personnel on merchandising best practices and productknowledge to enhance their ability to sell our products effectively.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in merchandising, preferably in theconvenience store industry.
Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Flexibility to travel to multiple convenience store locations as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Familiarity with consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
