Job Description

The Dior Regional Sales Director is responsible for sharing the vision, implementing the execution and driving retail sales strategy with a brand first, omni-channel lens across multiple marketplaces and key cities within the region. They lead a team consisting of Business Development Managers, Account Executives (AEs), Account Coordinators (ACs), Education Managers (EM) with a dotted line for development to Dior Show Artists (DSA) and other sales personnel. The Dior Regional Sales Director is responsible for strategic oversight and analysis of market and field trends with an Omni-Channel approach. Ensuring a seamless customer experience for Dior clients across all accounts and platforms, including Dior.com.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Omni Channel Strategy

Develop a plan to achieve/exceed omni sales goals for region based on expectations for sales and penetration. Responsible for overall execution of business strategies.
Share the brand vision and strategy with the team and create a pathway for each individual to achieve this goal.
Manage Business Development Managers to create Key City programs that align with Image and Volume Driver counters/accounts.
Work with Account Executives to create detailed plans by door that are aligned with the brand strategy to grow the total Dior business in their marketplace.
Communicate brand-building opportunities that are brand first and Omni centric.
Analyze and communicate competitors’ activities.

People Development and Management

Coach, counsel, motivate, and develop a team of AEs and the BDM to ensure optimal sales performance, using appropriate resources and drive retail sales across all accounts and platforms, with a focus on client recruitment, retention through the retailer CRM systems.
Review door performance with Account Executives and coach them on improvement strategies and tactics.
Review key city performance with Business Development Manager and coach them on improvement strategies and tactics.
Develop service, selling and CRM management skills of Account Executives, working with them during store visits in the field.
Offer feedback and coaching to the Education Managers and Dior Show Artists in collaboration with the Education and Events departments.
Promote Dior values and encourage creativity, innovation, and risk taking.

Financial Analysis and Budget Management

Analyze sales performance and identify opportunity for growth and gaps for improvement.
Manage freelance, T&E, and retail budgets for all doors and Account Executives in the territory.

Retailer Relationships

Build relationships with stakeholders, including Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Merchants, District merchants, and Store Managers.
Provide input into Key Account strategies based on knowledge of in-store activity and opportunities.

Qualifications

10+ years of multi-door sales experience in prestige cosmetics or retail
Must be able to travel 20-60% of the time; hours of work must be flexible to meet job objectives
Must be able to travel to out of market meetings with overnight travel at a minimum of 2 times a year.
Prior experience with managing and driving retail results with Department Stores, Specialty retailers and Multi brand stores
Proven experience in hiring, training, and developing sales personnel
Strong understanding and knowledge of leading beauty and fragrance brands and their competitive positioning
Strong understanding of operating practices of key Department Store and Specialty retailers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have a valid driver’s license

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $156,000-$170,000.00.
