Job Description - Regional Sales Director - Texas

Location: Remote within Texas

Reports to:

COO

Are you an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the health insurance industry? Are you passionate about driving growth and building strong relationships with insurance brokers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Texas Regional Sales Director to join our team. This remote position offers the chance to lead the distribution of our health insurance plans across the state, working closely with insurance brokers to achieve sales objectives and ensure compliance with company standards. This role requires 25% to 50% travel within the state of Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Broker Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers in Texas.
Distribute health plans to brokers and provide ongoing support, training, and resources to enhance their sales efforts.
Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with brokers to assess performance and address any issues.

Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company goals and targets.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective sales campaigns and promotions.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure all broker activities comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.
Stay updated with changes in health insurance laws and communicate relevant information to brokers.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and report on broker performance, sales metrics, and market conditions.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on sales progress and challenges.

Training and Development:
Organize and conduct training sessions for brokers on product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Support brokers in developing their business plans and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in health insurance sales, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth through broker channels.
In-depth knowledge of the health insurance market in Texas and familiarity with state and federal regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel within the state as required (25% to 50%).
