Regional Sales Manager

Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, expanding the dealer/distributor network, and achieving sales targets within the assigned region. The role also involves building strong customer relationships and ensuring effective market coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.


• Manage and motivate the regional sales team.


• Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, retailers, and key customers.


• Identify new business opportunities and increase market share.


• Monitor competitors' activities and market trends.


• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.


• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.


• Resolve customer complaints and provide effective solutions.


• Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to support sales activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.


• 5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.


• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


• Ability to lead a team and achieve sales targets.


• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

• FMCG, Consumer Goods, Building Materials, Pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
