Job Description - Regional Sales Manager

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth in Dynatect orders within a designated regional territory in North America. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Dynatect products, applications, industry terminology, customer base, and competitive landscape. The successful candidate will develop and execute plans for managing independent sales representatives, key accounts, and pricing strategies, while also identifying new growth opportunities that align with Dynatect’s capabilities and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Representative Management: Develop and track opportunities to drive order growth by meeting with independent sales representatives and internal stakeholders in monthly business review meetings.
Growth Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with Global Product Managers to understand market dynamics, competitive positioning, and recommend strategies to counter competition.
Commercial Negotiations: Work with Accounting and Customer Service teams to implement pricing and commercial terms. Negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes in challenging commercial situations.
Key Account Management: Oversee key accounts and ensure strategic customer meetings are well-coordinated with internal stakeholders.
Reporting and Forecasting: Submit accurate monthly reports and order forecasts, and establish annual orders budget for the region.
Market Insight: Analyze industry trends and competitive positions across multiple industries and channels to identify growth opportunities.
Trade Shows and Travel: Represent Dynatect at industry trade shows and travel within the assigned region to support growth initiatives.
Training and Development: Train sales representatives on product knowledge and industry trends to enhance their performance.
Management: Manage a network of approximately 10-20 independent sales representatives.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of technical sales experience
Experience selling manufacturing components or equipment
Strong negotiation skills
Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degrees preferred.
Location : New Berlin, WI
Salary:

$140,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience
