This position will work independently and with center teams to generate and grow revenue for an assigned region of properties and has geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

How can you contribute to what we do? You will work with the Regional Director of Marketing Partnerships to establish personal and property sales goals then create and execute the sales plan to achieve or exceed these goals to drive NOI.
Working collectively with a regional asset team to drive results and excellence for assigned properties, you will oversee the sales process from beginning to end, both as a salesperson and as a resource for field teams.
You will collaborate with center Marketing Directors to identify, create, and sell revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of center assets, media assets, and special events and programs in order to achieve the financial sales goals of the property and region.
Leveraging company programs, tools, and resources you will provide sales guidance and training to local Marketing Directors as needed.
Keenly aware of the current retail landscape and consumer trends, you will target, pitch, and develop relationships with area and national brand-appropriate partners within key categories (auto, health care, entertainment, retail, education, etc.) located within your markets/region and vet for potential local, regional, and national deals.
Using your strong sales experience, you will create compelling client solutions to meet advertising objectives, articulate the benefits of partnering with Tanger Outlets, and close large single and multi-property advertising, sponsorship, or promotion programs on a regular basis.
As a strong leader you will provide sales guidance and training to local teams as needed. You will guide your team according to the policies surrounding deal execution from beginning to end.
Using the budget as your guide, you will routinely monitor progress on a center by center, regional, and national basis. You will work with local teams to meet goals and update forecasts accordingly and clearly articulate and communicate progress against goals and variances.

Possessing a thorough understanding of sales techniques, we will depend on you to grow new accounts, renew existing accounts, and achieve value-added results during negotiations.

Demonstrating an exceptional ability to establish positive professional working relationships, lead visionary strategies, and drive sustainable equitable change, you provide additional value within the department, across business units and with clients.

Exercising your prior management/supervisory experience and demonstrating team-oriented leadership, you can influence, guide, mentor, coach, motivate, and support team members to develop and improve performance to reach sales goals.
As a self-motivated, independent, and energetic person, you excel at initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing multiple projects with a detail-oriented approach, meeting key deadlines without sacrificing quality.
You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess exceptional organizational and time management skills.
With a forward-thinking, strategic mindset, you ensure the flawless execution for all national, regional, and local programs.
You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, Nexus, Concur, and Salesforce and are able to quickly learn Tanger systems.
Your education includes a high school diploma with a bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
You have five years of field related experience. Experience with mall advertising, out-of-home sales, or B2B business development is preferred.
You are able to travel via commercial airlines and maintain a valid driver's license to operate your own vehicle or rental car in a safe manner. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range :$73,000 - 112,000 per year
