Job Description - Regional Sales Manager Megger Location: Texas Category: Sales
Responsibilities:
Manage a sales team consisting of direct employees and manufacturer's representatives determining business development and training needs
Implement the strategies and plans necessary to achieve the targeted sales and profit results
Establish and maintain important relationships with key accounts
Conduct periodic product/market/customer analysis to provide the necessary guidance and direction to achieve maximum market share
Participate in a variety of industry events, including trade shows, conferences, product seminars, etc.
Facilitate the development and maintenance of a relevant customer contact database
Ensure proper implementation of marketing programs, product promotions, and new product launches
Provide written and/or verbal monthly and ad hoc reports to management regarding region results, action plans, product/application development opportunities, competitive landscape, and other relevant information
Full utilization of company software tools (SAP/SAC, C4C, Webi, Microsoft programs, etc.) based upon company guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Requires five years of sales management experience and sales experience in electrical utility and industrial markets
Knowledge/experience with electrical test equipment
BSEE preferred.
Ability to travel 50% of working time, predominately US and seldom international
Candidate must reside in a location with reasonable access to a major airport
Residing in the Dallas Fort Worth area, a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present a technical subject matter
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM software
Familiarity with SAP/SAC, a plus
