Mission 

The Regional Sales Manager Northeast is a field based position within a multifunction sales organization. In order to be successful is this role you must maintain consistent, quality support to customers, follow and develop new sales leads, meet sales volume objectives, coordinate technical support, intervene in regard to customer service, schedule sales calls, assist customers and reps with training, support product launches, provide market information and sales forecasts to sales management and ensure that sales administration responsibilities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

 Main Accountabilities

• Attain annual sales budget/volume


• Manage assigned sales personnel to achieve sales goals and volume


• Develop and sustain accurate sales forecasts


• Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans


• Maintain/develop superior relations with customer base


• Other assigned duties

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent, engineering degree preferred


• 5 to 7 years’ experience in the electrical industry


• Experience managing both direct sales and manufacturers reps


• Leadership and communication skills


• Good problem solver


• Travel required up to 50%


• Ability to travel as needed, at times with limited notice, by air or car

The expected salary for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 and will be eligible for incentive pay.  This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, locations, skills, training, and experience.
