$160,000 - 190,000 yearly
Compensation: Base salary range $160,000 to $190,000, with annual bonus structure and monthly auto allowance. Salary is based on knowledge, skills, and experience and has been geographically adjusted.
Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development (70%) Develop, lead and manage the Prime Equipment (AIF, AVR and AII Divisions) business, including establishing goals for product sales in accordance with Atlas Copco standards. Develop customer satisfaction by understanding the needs and expectations of our customers. Prepare related business development reports and conduct/present relevant market analysis. Control expenses, while maximizing Company assets, time, skills, and profit levels. Review business development strategies on a regular basis and recommend modifications and enhancements that will secure sales goals in line with growth targets. Represent the Company at trade shows and conferences. Travel as necessary to achieve the objectives of this position. Maintain effective lines of communication with the BLM for AIF and AII, regional Sales Managers and Operations Manager as well as the other Prime Equipment Regional Sales Managers. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
People Management (20%) Define the mission for the regional sales team as they relate to the regional targets. Enhance the professional image for all colleagues at all times through personal actions and initiatives. Achieve the results through management, monitoring and accountability of the team.
Personal Development (5%) – Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations.
Reporting (5%) – Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget. Report on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience – 5 years of relevant industrial sales experience, including territory management, preferably in the compressed air industry.
Education – Four year degree in business or marketing. Advanced degree is a plus.
