Blue Stone Therapy was founded in 2009 and provides contract physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology to communities in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Vice President of Operations to join our team! The Regional Vice President (VP) of Operations is a key member of the operations team responsible for executing short and long-term financial and operating objectives across multiple facilities within their region. This includes owning the client relationship, financial metrics, and team member success.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the onboarding, accountability, and development of employees through strong leadership, effective management skills, and adherence to the Blue Stone purpose, core values, policies, and procedures.
Direct oversight of assigned Regional Management team (RDOs and ADOs), to include staffing, new business and new business start-ups, leadership development, and performance improvement.
Responsible for generating leads and acquiring new business in assigned region in collaboration with the Business Development team.
Complete facility site visits every four to six (4-6) weeks or as required to present statistical reports, promote compliance, customer service, education and training, support marketing efforts, and to evaluate facility benchmarks.
Ongoing analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), revenue forecasts, and facility expenses.
Effective collaboration with Recruiter, Regional Management, and Rehab Director for recruiting purposes. Manage staffing patterns and ensure each rehab department is staffed adequately for patient and customer service needs.
Work in conjunction with the Clinical Services team to ensure compliance, quality measures, and success metrics are achieved.
Accountable for the overall regional performance including the assessment and enhancement of workflow, resolution of complaints, and ensuring team member engagement to improve the overall patient/client experience.
Maintains expertise in clinical knowledge, practices, and standards to coach and mentor Rehab Directors and clinical staff to drive clinical excellence and outcomes.
Establishes strong partnership with clients, serving as a valuable collaborator in optimizing overall success. Provides strategic direction to the client on new services, projects, and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes and joint business objectives.
Represents Blue Stone Therapy in community activities, marketing events, seminars, and conventions.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a multi-facility skilled therapy services leadership role, involving a combination of hands-on therapy and clinical leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to exercise professional judgment with initiative in analyzing and executing multi-faceted problem solving.
Consistently exhibits exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
Proven competency in developing and maintaining professional relationships with customers, peers, and direct reports.
Extensive knowledge of contract therapy service provision within the skilled nursing setting (outpatient therapy experience a plus)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional collaboration and customer relationship skills.
Experience with NetHealth preferred.
License and Certification
Current valid Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license to practice in appropriate state.
