About the Role
The Regional Vice President, Operations II, will have a pivotal role in the oversight of ambulatory surgery centers in the Midwest. This includes managing operations, finance, and partnership management across multiple facilities. The RVP will be tasked with driving growth in case volume and EBITDA, leading the recruitment of new surgeons, and ensuring the retention of existing surgical staff. Strategic planning for each facility, including the development and execution of annual business plans, is a key responsibility. The RVP will also be deeply involved in leadership development with administrators and CEOs, partnership management, and the full deployment of safety and leadership initiatives. The role demands a high level of industry awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with healthcare partners at all levels.Candidates for the Regional Vice President position should ideally possess a Master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare business development, operations, finance, and business consulting is required. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing growth strategies and managing people effectively. Strong analytical and presentation skills, as well as a solid understanding of financial management, are essential. The role also requires the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including "C" level healthcare partners, physicians, employees, and patients. Up to 75% travel, both by vehicle and air, may be necessary for this position.
