Job Description - Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing

The Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing provides strategic leadership to drive occupancy, revenue, and brand awareness within a specified region of communities, supports the communities in achieving projected results, and works in close collaboration with regional and support office teams to deliver regional targets as budgeted. As our newest RVP of Sales & Marketing, you will:



  • Generate comprehensive strategic plans for the region, considering market dynamics and community-specific needs in attracting and engaging potential residents.

  • Create tailored strategic plans for each community, informed by analysis of metrics, market trends, and community needs.

  • Collaborate with community teams and corporate leaders in analysis and tactical sales and marketing planning to ensure achievement of desired results.

  • Oversee sales processes, ensuring a seamless customer journey from initial inquiry through move-in.

  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance metrics.

  • Extract actionable insights to inform decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement, showcasing financial awareness by optimizing revenue and managing expenses.

  • Provide hands-on coaching and training to Sales Directors, focused on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and creating positive interactions, reflecting strong people development skills.

  • Ensure sales playbook expectations for the sales team, including necessary systems and tools, are known and consistently adhered to in the region.

  • Inspire and motivate the sales team through virtual and in-person communication channels, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

  • Generate accurate sales projections and align them with business goals.

  • Develop and implement a hybrid engagement strategy for virtual and in-person interactions with Sales Directors and community teams.

  • Leverage technology and face-to-face meetings for training sessions, performance reviews, and enhancing the prospective customer's journey, demonstrating a competitive edge in positioning communities to win market share.

  • Lead and facilitate EOS traction meetings to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress toward goals.

  • Inspire and motivate the sales team through virtual and in-person communication channels, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

  • Conduct strategic in-person site visits to Vitality Living communities, ensuring firsthand understanding of on-site dynamics and refining strategies to enhance the customer experience.

  • Demonstrate initiative and confidence by identifying opportunities and acting proactively.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to support communities in exceeding budgeted results, ensuring alignment with financial projections and business objectives.

  • Identify and address barriers to achieving sales goals, focusing on creative solutions.

  • Communicate with owners through comprehensive quarterly executive summaries and monthly reports, providing detailed updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Regional and community operations teams to identify and address any barriers to achieving sales goals, focusing on creative solutions rather than operational adjustments.


SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5-8 years of experience in multisite and/or multi-state senior living sales, in a Director or above role

  • Experience in senior living or hospitality is highly preferred 

  • Proven experience in utilizing data analytics for strategic decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of the senior housing industry and a commitment to vitality-focused living.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing sales teams.

  • Demonstrated expertise in sales, in-market advertising, and business development, consistently delivering desired results.

  • Ability to manage time and resources effectively, showcasing strong strategic planning abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle failure constructively and take decisive action with confidence.

  • Ability to travel within the designated region for in-person site visits as needed. 


*The ideal candidate must reside in the Southeast region and be located near a major airport, with preference given to candidates based in Georgia, Tennessee, or South Carolina.
