Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral therapy. In this energetic role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Duties:
Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBA
Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, or community settings
Collect accurate and detailed data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
Follow behavior intervention plans, including reinforcement, prompting, and redirection strategies
Assist in developing daily session notes and maintaining documentation requirements
Communicate progress, challenges, and observations to supervising BCBAs
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
Support generalization of skills across environments through play-based and naturalistic teaching
Uphold ethical and professional standards in line with BACB guidelines and PediaPlex expectations
Qualifications:
Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain-PediaPlex provides training!)
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience working with children, especially in special education or behavior therapy, is a plus
Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
Ability to accept supervision, implement feedback, and work collaboratively
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to move frequently: sit, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, bend, etc.
Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior and track data
Ability to use tablets, computers, and therapy materials
Ability to drive/travel between multiple locations (if necessary).
