Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Behavioral Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct assessments, facilitate group and individual therapies, and implement individualized treatment plans. If you are a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who wants to make a difference in our clients' lives, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform intakes and assessments

Deliver individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client information and treatment plan

Perform data collection and session notes

Adhere to all BACB Ethic Codes and Certification standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, or similar field

Current RBT Certificate

Previous experience as a behavioral therapist preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized

Professional Communication and Appearance

Time Management Skills

Proficient writing skills

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Compensation: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Before becoming a BCBA, she trained in Downstate SUNY Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital collaborating with staff to reduce patients’ behaviors, decreasing the use of restraints using OBM principles.
