Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures such as:

Responsibilities:

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

Assist dentist during procedures and exams

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Schedule appointments

Qualifications

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

Previous experience as a dental assistant

Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required

Strong computer and data entry skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

About

Dr. Nguyen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Montreal in Canada where she grew up. After moving to the United State she went on to pursue a career in dentistry, receiving a doctoral degree in dental medicine at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She also holds a Certificate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Nguyen then completed a one year post-graduate General Practice Residency at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

After working several years in the private and public sectors Dr. Nguyen is now excited and honored to be able to care for you at Smileinsight Dental. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society. To help connect with all of her patients, in addition to speaking English she also speaks French, Vietnamese, Laotian and basic Spanish. During her spare time, if she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys oil painting, singing, playing badminton and practicing Kendo.

San Diego Dentist Dr. Nguyen is committed to providing every patient with the highest quality dental care and comfort. Dr. Nguyen has the knowledge and expertise utilizing the latest advanced dental technology to help patients seeking teeth whitening, laser treatments, smile makeovers, Invisalign, dental crowns and/or implants in California.
