Job Description - Registered Dental Assistant

Our growing dental office has a fantastic opportunity for a registered dental assistant to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of previous experience working in a dental office as an RDA and is ready to provide exemplary care for our patients. Responsibilities:

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

Assist dentist during procedures and exams

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Schedule appointments

Treatment planning

Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

Ability to operate 3D scanners for dental imaging purposes

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

Previous experience as a dental assistant

Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required

Strong computer and data entry skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Proficiency in Dentrix software is strongly preferred

Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred

Ability to commute to both of our locations if needed
