Chalet Dental is seeking a talented and passionate Registered Dental Assistant to join their team of oral healthcare professionals. As a practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care, we are looking for an individual who shares our values and commitment to excellence.

The primary role of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to support the doctors in providing the best dental care possible to our patients while maintaining safety and infection control compliance with state, federal and other regulatory bodies. Pay range is $20-$26 DOE.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trust with patients by maintaining a professional and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable
• Assist doctors chairside efficiently with four handed dentistry
• Take and record patient vitals (e.g. B.P, Pulse)
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as directed by clinician
• Initiate and maintain patient records and files
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the ADA guidelines
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc)

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
• Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor
• Open Dental experience a plus
