Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director of WIC, the Registered Dietitian performs professional work in providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and high priority nutrition counseling services to patients of Valle del Sol, according to federal guidelines, rules, and regulations. Job Requirements: 18 years or older; and Arizona State license to practice as a Registered Dietitian; and Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or nutrition. Strong initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility skills, and the ability to multi-task. Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care Must be able to execute conflict resolution.  Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence. Strong verbal, written, and communications skills. Knowledge of MS Windows 365 environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems. Excellent customer service. Ability to provide culturally sensitive services. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance. Basic Life Support trained or the ability to be trained within 10 business days from hire date. TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray upon hire (as applicable). Vaccinations/Titer’s Test/Declination Form: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella. Covid 19 Vaccination or Qualified Exemption (Religious or Medical).
