Position Overview:

As a Registered Dietitian at CoreLife Novant Health, you will work closely with patients to create personalized weight loss solutions and oversee their nutrition and diet. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care plans that address the complexities of obesity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional histories, medical conditions, and lifestyle factors to develop personalized care plans.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care without conflicting recommendations.
• Conduct nutrition assessments and explain results of body composition analysis and metabolic testing.
• Educate patients on nutritional science, weight maintenance, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Use motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and empower patients to take control of their health.
• Document all counseling sessions thoroughly for seamless care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (Graduate degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum one year as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetics Registration, and state licensure required.
• Skills: Strong ability to engage patients in self-care, accommodate cultural diversity, and support behavioral change.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 10-hour workdays (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 7:00 am-5:30 pm/8:30 am-7:00 pm)
