Schedule: Part-Time Flexible
Commitment: 8-hour on-site visit per Quarter (25% Remote)
Compensation: $30.00-38.00 per hour, depending on experience
Travel Reimbursement: Compensated at hourly rate for travel time
Mileage Reimbursement: According to current federal mileage rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing nutrition care services and optimizing resident outcomes.
- Review and approve menus bi-annually, ensuring alignment with USDA guidelines.
- Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions to uphold a sanitary environment.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned within the scope of practice.
- Identify high-risk residents for periodic nutritional assessments.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Possession of current state licensure/certification if required by state regulations.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in menu review for facilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess objectives, develop, implement, and monitor effective improvement plans.
- Proficient in providing general nutrition guidance.
- Familiarity with state survey processes and adherence to nutrition care regulations.
