Registered Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for a 13-week full-time contract with our healthcare client.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized nutrition care plans, and providing dietary counseling to support overall health and wellness.

The Registered Dietitian will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive high-quality nutritional care that promotes positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients..
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans..
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers..
• Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary interventions as needed..
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient care..
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements..
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility nutrition standards..
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nutrition-related programs..

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field..
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required..
• Active state licensure/certification as required..
• Previous clinical, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital experience preferred..
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills..
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team..
