REGISTERED NURSE

New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse, with Weekend availability. We are hiring for days, evenings and overnights.

We offer Full-time and Part-Time positions , 12 hour shifts! Every other weekend is REQUIRED.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

• Observes and assesses client's course of treatment while in residence
• Provides general direction and oversight to Recovery Service Techs on assigned shift
• Administers physician ordered medications to clients; ensures and accepts responsibility for security of medication at all times
• Administers written documentation for services rendered performed in accordance with the Agency's standards for service documentation in the client's medical record

Requirements

New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:

• State of Florida Registered Nursing License
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• BSN preferred
