Job Description
The Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse 2 – Research to join the Bjornstad/Tommerdahl/Pyle laboratory.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the UW Diabetes Institute Director, the Registered Nurse 2 – Research will perform clinical nursing procedures in accordance with research protocols and evaluate outcomes of patient participation in research studies. Working under the general direction of Principal Investigators and in close collaboration with advanced practice providers, the Registered Nurse 2 Research will conduct clinical procedures, support regulatory aspects of research, and collect, organize, and analyze data obtained from research participants.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or a relevant field AND two (2) years of experience at the Registered Nurse 1 – Research level.
Legal Requirement(s): Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
