Position Highlights

• Join a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry unit caring for patients recovering from:
  
  • Open heart surgeries
  • Cardiac catheterizations with stent placement
  • Pacemaker/AICD placement
  • Ablations and other electrophysiology procedures
  • Structural heart interventions (e.g., TAVR, mitral clip, TMVR)
• Treat complex cardiac conditions, including acute/chronic heart failure and post-op cardiovascular surgical cases
• Work closely with cardiology teams to provide evidence-based, progressive care outside the ICU

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition throughout each shift
• Administer medications and respond to therapeutic outcomes
• Perform provider-ordered procedures and document thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Operate and maintain knowledge of cardiac-related equipment and protocols

Requirements

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license 
•  Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 30 days of hire
