Position Summary:Ratios: 1:5-6.
*36 - 48 hrs will be accepted. For 48hrs, no OT billed until after 48 hrs.
Will Accept 13 Weeks.
Shift: 12 HOUR NIGHTS
***RTO: 7 days MAX***
Float Requirement: Yes, to other telemetry units.
Weekend Requirement: 4 Weekend Days in a 6-week time track.

Qualifications:Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year
Traveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiac GTT exp. MUST be comfortable with cardiac drips including :Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin.

Certifications:ACLS, BCLS

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:They may get various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator.
They work with a heart failure navigator.

UNIT SYSTEMS:Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION:36 hours of orientation

SCRUBS:Not provided – Navy
