Registered Nurse – Med/Tele (Cardiac/Neuro) – Full-Time (Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a collaborative and patient-focused Medical-Surgical Cardiac/Neuroteam. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where nurses are valued and empowered to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions at admission and throughout each shift
• Recognize and report changes in patient status in a timely manner
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse effects
• Carry out physician-ordered procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide prompt, patient-centered care and anticipate patient needs
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Follow nursing models and clinical best practices to support positive outcomes

Requirements

• Current Florida RN license or an approved multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 30 days of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification – required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months of hire
• ACLS/BCLS Instructor certification (optional, but accepted)
