About the Opportunity:

• Pre-operative assessment and patient education: Prepare patients for their cardiac procedures, providing clear information and addressing any concerns.
• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications: Continuously monitor patients' cardiovascular status, administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Assisting with cardiac procedures: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Post-operative care and pain management: Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring pain management and monitoring for potential complications.
• Patient education and discharge planning: Educate patients on their post-operative care, medications, and recovery expectations.
• Documenting patient care: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Experience with monitoring hemodynamic parameters, interpreting ECGs, and administering cardiovascular medications.
