The Chemo/Infusion RN provides compassionate and professional nursing care, adhering to the standards set by the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Nurses Association. This role involves daily clinical operations, including patient care, education, triaging calls, scheduling, billing, obtaining prior authorizations, and maintaining patient records. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the Nursing Process.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional care and education to patients undergoing chemotherapy and infusion treatments.
Manage clinic operations, including triage, scheduling, and billing support.
Ensure compliance with oncology nursing standards.
Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
