Registered Nurse - Circulating

RN Circulator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Circulator to join our surgical team. The RN Circulator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures by providing support to the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.

- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

- Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and readily available.

- Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.

- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Previous experience in a surgical setting as an RN Circulator is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

- Proficient in operating room protocols and procedures.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

- Requires regular and predictable attendance.
