Job Title: Registered Nurse CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Location: Newark, DE
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday with flexibility for mid-shifts and CVOR call rotation
Salary Range: $83,000 - $130,000 annually

Position Summary:

Actively seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our distinguished Open Heart Surgery Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a nationally recognized facility that offers strong career growth, generous benefits, and a supportive team environment.

As a CVOR RN, you will deliver expert surgical nursing care to cardiovascular patients, ensuring excellence in every step of the perioperative process. You will work closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR techs in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and compassionate intraoperative care for cardiovascular patients
• Support open-heart and other cardiac procedures with precision and professionalism
• Monitor patient vitals, maintain sterile fields, and anticipate surgical team needs
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team during complex procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking and respond quickly to emergent situations
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care throughout the procedure
• Participate in on-call rotation for cardiovascular cases

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (DE or Compact State eligible)
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Cardiac Open-Heart surgery experience is required

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Candidates without a BSN must commit to earning one within 3 years of hire
