REGISTERED NURSE - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT - NIGHTS

, 12-hour shifts

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on the night shift. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients in our fast-paced emergency department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan

- Assist with emergency procedures and provide support to physicians as needed

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Active Florida Registered Nurse license

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols

- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
