About the Role

Emerging Tech is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (Geriatric) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support the VA Palo Alto Health Care System Community Living Centers. This role provides direct nursing care to Veterans in accordance with VA policies and nationally recognized standards of care.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver direct geriatric nursing care in a community living/long-term care setting

• Perform assessments, treatments, medication administration, and clinical documentation

• Collaborate with VA interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Comply with VA policies, medical staff bylaws, and privacy requirements

• Complete VA-mandated training, credentialing, and background investigation

• Accurately track time and attendance

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license with no negative indicators

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently

• Willingness to complete all VA training and onboarding requirements

Registered Nurse (Geriatric):

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (State of California)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
