Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As an RN in our PCU, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in the progressive care setting. Your role is to communicate with physicians/Nursing Unit Director/Charge Nurses/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition. This includes hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. The ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

  • Tuition Reimbursement: Repays up to $600 per calendar year for fees expended to attend a job-related seminar, licensure renewal, workshop, conference, individual course, or other training programs. 

  • Tuition Loan: Provides up to $2,000 per calendar year for approved formal certificate or degree programs including prerequisites for approved degree programs. A tuition loan and reimbursement may, with appropriate approvals, be combined for a maximum of $2,600.

Hours: 19:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Nights

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing
• BSN preferred
   

License/Certifications:

• Current CA RN license
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
   

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required in an acute care setting
