Job Title: Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Location: Coos Bay, OR

Salary: $45.00 $71.00/hour (Dependent on experience)

Shift: Day or Night shifts available, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Job Overview:

The IMCU RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced intermediate care setting. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in compliance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care using critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Support patient stabilization and respond to emergencies
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient and unit needs

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication and teaching abilities
• Critical thinking and prioritization in dynamic settings
• Technologically proficient with EMR and basic computing tools
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team
