Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Full-Time)  

THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS 7P TO 7A 

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This full-time position requires availability on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and monitor patients during labor and delivery, providing timely interventions as needed.

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure patient safety and comfort.

- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.

Requirements

The applicant must have a valid Registered Nurse License or temporary Permit, and a valid BLS Certification.       

Qualifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing is highly desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Skills:

- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

- Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and protocols.

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
