Position Overview:
Deliver critical care in our dynamic Labor & Delivery unit as a Night Shift RN. This role requires expertise in high-acuity obstetrics, including C-section support and neonatal stabilization in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart tones/labor progression
• Assist with deliveries & emergency C-sections
• Provide postpartum/newborn stabilization care
• Administer medications and manage epidurals
• Coordinate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and anesthesia teams
• Document in EPIC EMR with 100% compliance

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Licensure: Active NY State RN License
• Certifications: Current BLS certification (must maintain)
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
• Must have prior experience circulating for C-section procedures.
• Experience scrubbing for C-sections is required.
• Technical Skills: EPIC EMR proficiency (preferred)
• Soft Skills: Critical thinking, composure under pressure, patient advocacy
