Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the labor and delivery process, ensuring that both mothers and newborns receive the highest standard of care. This position requires a blend of technical skills, customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the delivery room, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and sterile.
• Monitor vital signs of both mother and baby during labor.
• Provide support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and care delivery.
• Load and unload medical supplies as needed for deliveries.
• Drive company vehicles, including box trucks or vans, to transport medical supplies to various locations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and patient care activities.

Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced*, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP

Charting System: Epic

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in labor and delivery or maternal health.
• Skills in commercial driving, including experience with manual transmission vehicles, are highly desirable.
• Background in customer service to effectively interact with patients and families.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is a plus.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
