Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby throughout the birthing process.

Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, L.A.City Fire Card , NRP

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred, with a strong understanding of obstetric care.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols is advantageous.
• Knowledge of discharge planning processes is essential.
• Ability to perform cardiac catheterization procedures when necessary.
• Experience with dialyzing patients is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Skills in tube feeding administration are preferred.
• Proficient in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
• Understanding of workers compensation law related to patient care is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
