Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Unit in alignment with hospital goals and values.
• Develop cost-effective systems to support departmental operations, considering trends, resource availability, and customer needs.
• Maintain strong working relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers, and vendors.
• Drive performance improvements through continuous customer satisfaction feedback and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve strategic objectives for the unit and the facility as a whole.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including:  
  • Personnel management
  • Budget and payroll oversight
  • Business planning and marketing
  • Physician relations
  • Supervision of managerial staff

  Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Texas RN License or compact 
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
