Job Description: Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the Emergency Department on night shifts at a leading healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a positive work environment for staff. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department on night shifts, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain high-quality care. - Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. - Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and appropriate skill mix. - Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing education and training to promote professional development. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and department activities. - Participate in the budgeting process and monitor department expenses to ensure financial goals are met. - Handle patient and family complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. - Stay current with advancements in emergency nursing and implement new practices and technologies as appropriate. Qualifications: - Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Missouri. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required, Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. - Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles, practices, and procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven leadership abilities and ability to effectively manage a team. - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
