JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Manager - Med/Surg

RN MGR - MED/SURG
Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse Manager candidates of the Med/Surg Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Nurse Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s).
• The Manager coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care.
• The Manager assists the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures, quality outcomes, and financial management of the Unit.

RN MGR - MED/SURG
Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse Manager candidates of the Med/Surg Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1-2 years of recent leadership acute care experience REQUIRED with a minimum of 3-5 years acute care RN staff level experience.
• Texas State RN license or compact license required.
• BSN required; Masters preferred.
• BLS required by AHA or ARC.
• Advanced specialty certification required within 1 year of hire.
