RN Nursing Manager – Medical Telemetry

Location: Kansas City, MO

Position Overview

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care through daily oversight of the Medical Telemetry Unit
• Monitor nursing care delivery to ensure compliance with clinical standards and organizational policies
• Lead staff to meet performance benchmarks and deliver superior patient outcomes
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency in patient care
• Implement evidence-based practices to support consistent, high-quality care
• Collaborate with clinical leaders and staff to drive improvements in efficiency and service delivery
• Support strategies to enhance the patient experience and overall satisfaction

Leadership Responsibilities

• Foster a patient-first culture through leadership, coaching, and employee engagement
• Ensure team members are trained, supported, and aligned with organizational goals
• Identify and address employee development needs through mentoring and performance feedback
• Manage scheduling and staffing to meet patient care demands and productivity standards
• Oversee operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising care quality
• Address and resolve employee concerns or grievances following appropriate procedures

Requirements

• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state license as applicable
• BLS & ACLS within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred
