Job Description - Registered Nurse Manager- Mother and Baby

Description

Position Summary:

Seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Mother-Baby Care Unit. This leadership role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with clinical standards and organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all unit operations, including postpartum and newborn nursery care.
  • Ensure patient safety and continuity of care across settings.
  • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and with patient families.
  • Manage departmental personnel, payroll, staffing, budgeting, and physician relations.
  • Drive quality initiatives and process improvements specific to Women's Health.
  • Supervise and allocate human and material resources effectively.
  • Serve as liaison with hospital departments, community partners, and institutions.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Pay range of $49-$66/hr including benefits and other incentives 
  • $15,000 sign-on bonus

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Current RN license in Texas or compact state
  • Minimum of 2 years in a nurse leadership/management role preferred
  • Experience managing staff, payroll, and operations
  • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • NRP required
