Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health

Department: Maternal Child Health, (3) 12 hour shifts, primarily days and nights, every other weekend, rotating holidays and on call shifts.

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6-month introductory period. Minimum one year Labor & Delivery or Obstetrical experience.

 Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Maternal Child Health/Labor & Delivery/Obstetrical experience. Certification in this specialty area. Neonatal Resuscitation.
