Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Location: Spearfish, SD

Salary: $61,000.00 to $75,000.00

Shift Times: Rotating shifts, 3 weeks of days (7 AM - 7:30 PM) and 3 weeks of nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), including 3 call shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description:

The Medical Surgical RN is a pivotal member of the healthcare team, focused on providing comprehensive, relationship-centered, and compassionate care. This role is suited for both newly graduated and experienced RNs who excel in a fast-paced environment and are committed to improving patient health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain professional nursing standards in accordance with ANA standards and institutional policies.
• Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as per the South Dakota State Board of Nursing.
• Preferred one (1+) year Med/Surg experience.
• Current BLS certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS encouraged.
