Job Summary:

As an Oncology RN, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care by performing clinical assessments, managing treatment plans, and supporting patients and their families through every stage of care. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, efficient, and personalized care while fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document comprehensive data related to each patient’s health status
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to advocate for patient needs
• Analyze assessment data to establish appropriate nursing diagnoses
• Develop individualized care plans based on expected patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient safety and adhere to best practices in all aspects of care
• Maximize efficient use of time, supplies, and medical equipment
• Provide patient education about medications, procedures, and treatments
• Offer support to patients and families throughout the healthcare journey

Requirements

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Oncology or Chemotherapy nursing (preferred)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required
